With a Hosted PBX you can keep your current phone services and forward all incoming phone calls to the new PBX. This new PBX will provide remote extensions to extensions or forward phone calls to employees mobile and/or fixed lines. The PBX includes menu IVR and queues where you can add external phone numbers. This way, the system can work like the main one and remote work is guaranteed.

If call forwarding is done to phone numbers of other providers, employees will only be able to answer phone calls but not call using the phone number of the business.

In summary, when someone call the phone number of your enterprise, the phone calls is forwarded to a new phone number in the hosted PBX that will route automatically the phone calls to the right users based on the option menu, call queues and other set up rules.
